I shot this story in the summer of 2005 when Joe was a sprite 90 years old. I was fortunate enough to become Joe’s friend during the process of shooting this story and we stayed in touch right up until he passed in the Fall of 2009.
I miss him, but every time I watch this story I smile and it reminds me of what a special man Joe DiGangi was…and is.
